ABOUT The Jayrose enrichment center

 We know that social and emotional learning nurtures self-awareness. Our Self and Social Awareness Program provides tools for youths to use through their self-discovery journey. Youths will learn the importance of mental health awareness and how it can impact their self and social growth.  The skills learned will assist them in becoming critical thinkers and confident leaders in an evolving society. 

We know college isn't for everyone. No matter what decision youth make our program will provide them with career options, financial resources, and college preparation to help navigate their career choices. 

 Our Leadership curriculum incorporates and reinforces components from our self and social awareness program. Using a cooperative learning approach, youths will learn additional methods to become future leaders and how to build and apply strong networking skills.

Our Financial Literacy Program provides an in-depth look into saving, investing, budgeting, and understanding how credit impacts one's life. This program teaches youths how to create a healthy relationship with money and make smart money decisions to avoid financial pitfalls.  Our program includes more than the basics of banking, it guides youths on how to incorporate good financial decisions into their daily lives that they can carry into adulthood.
